Vice President of Sales to lead its premium electric passenger car expansion across India. The role is exclusively targeted at high-performing sales leaders who have worked with global EV giants like Tesla, Volvo (Electric division), or similar premium electric 4W brands. The ideal candidate will have deep India or APAC market exposure, a strong command of EV sales strategy, and hands-on experience building dealerships, B2C/B2B networks, and premium EV customer engagement programs. This role is central to making a recognized premium EV brand in India. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Sales Leadership Lead the India EV 4W go-to-market strategy, including pricing, channel design, and regional targeting. Drive aggressive sales targets aligned with premium customer acquisition and revenue growth. Build and implement sales models reflective of premium EV ownership, focusing on customer experience, digital integration, and total cost of ownership (TCO) metrics. 2. Premium Dealer & Channel Expansion Establish a premium dealer/experience center network, reflecting a Tesla/Volvo-class ownership experience. Drive partnerships with charging infrastructure providers, luxury leasing firms, and fleet partners catering to corporates and CXOs. Navigate and leverage government EV policies for upscale consumer and enterprise sales growth. 3. B2C & B2B Sales Development Lead customer acquisition across metro cities targeting luxury buyers, tech-forward professionals, and eco-conscious elites. Drive fleet sales to premium mobility players, corporate clients, and government stakeholders. Close complex deals with long-term aftersales support commitments. 4. Team Building & Performance Management Hire and lead a team of national and regional EV sales professionals with exposure to luxury automotive sales. Create a high-performance sales culture through structured KPIs, coaching, and incentive design. 5. Collaboration Across Functions Work closely with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Customer Service to co-develop EV offerings tailored to India. Influence product roadmap based on market feedback, including customer expectations for range, features, after-sales, and value-added services. 6. Market Intelligence & Reporting Analyze EV competitor strategies, price positioning, customer trends, and local dynamics (especially premium segments). Present regular reports to the India CEO and Global HQ on sales performance, forecasts, and go-to-market progress. Candidate Profile: Must-Have Experience: 10–15+ years of automotive sales experience, with at least 3–5 years in premium EV 4W brands like Tesla, Volvo Electric, BYD Premium, or other comparable players (Lucid, Polestar, etc.). Experience launching or scaling premium EV models in India/APAC/Middle East/Europe/North America. Strong exposure to luxury B2C and institutional B2B sales models.
