Senior Systems Engineer / Project Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Lead the execution of a high-impact defense aerospace project from design through test and integration phases Manage a cross-functional team covering aerodynamics, guidance & control, avionics, flight mechanisms, propulsion, and ground systems Interface with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure system-level integration and mission success Prepare and review technical documentation, progress reports, and engineering analyses Conduct risk assessments, cost analysis, and project scheduling Oversee test planning, qualification procedures, and support flight testing campaigns Coordinate with government agencies, labs, and industry partners ✅ Candidate Profile: Educational Background: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience managing or engineering aerospace/defense systems Preferred: Previous involvement in rocket systems, high-speed flight, guided projectiles, or missile programs Advantage if worked in: DRDO labs (DRDL, RCI, ASL) ISRO – launch vehicle development Private-sector defense programs (e.g., Pinaka MRL, Akash, Agni, etc.) Domain Expertise (Preferred but not mandatory): Ground launch systems Guidance and control systems Aerodynamics and propulsion Avionics integration Flight testing and telemetry Launch vehicle sub-system design Skills: Strong understanding of flight dynamics, system integration, and mission planning Excellent written and verbal communication in English Proficient in technical documentation, system modeling, and program management tools 🌐 Other Details: Location: Hyderabad (onsite project management required) Employment Type: Full-time / Project-Based Contract Remuneration: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications Show more Show less
