The founding team of Bevolve comprises graduates from Northwestern Kellogg, & Chicago Booth with over 20 years of experience in technology in the USA, UK, and Singapore. 


About the Role

As the Business Development executive, you will be at the forefront of this mission, driving adoption of our SaaS-based impact platform by building relationships with organizations across industries.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and Target Opportunities:

    Proactively identify, target, and close enterprise-level opportunities by aligning our solutions with clients' sustainability and ESG goals.
  • Lead Generation:

    Independently identify, generate, and nurture leads to maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
  • Client Engagement:

    Conduct meetings with senior executives and decision-makers, including CXOs, to build trusted and long-lasting partnerships.
  • Sales Pipeline Management:

    Own and drive the entire sales pipeline, from prospecting to negotiation and closing, ensuring quarterly and annual revenue targets are consistently achieved and exceeded.
  • Consultative Selling:

    Understand prospective clients' business needs and challenges, offering tailored and genuine solutions that drive their success.
  • Platform Expertise and Demonstration:

    Develop a deep understanding of Bevolve’s platform to effectively communicate its value proposition, present its capabilities, and confidently demo the solution as required.
  • Strategic Business Development:

    Contribute to the organization’s growth by strategically planning and executing initiatives to expand revenue streams and market presence.
  • Collaboration:

    Partner with cross-functional teams, including product management, to ensure client needs are aligned with product offerings and drive continuous improvement.
  • Industry Representation:

    Represent Bevolve at industry events, webinars, and forums to enhance visibility, build relationships, and establish thought leadership.
  • Relationship Building:

    Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor in their sustainability and impact journeys.
  • Market Presence and Growth:

    Actively contribute to enhancing Bevolve’s visibility, reputation, and market position within the ESG and sustainability sectors.


Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years in enterprise sales, with at least 3 years in selling SaaS software OR consulting services to large cap companies.
  • Proven expertise in selling solutions within the ESG and sustainability domains.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability challenges and trends, particularly in the mid-market and enterprise segments.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • A track record of exceeding sales targets in competitive environments.


Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with AI-driven solutions and their application in sustainability.
  • Enterprise sales experience in selling SaaS software solutions in the USA market. 
  • Previous experience working with consulting companies selling into CXOs of large cap companies. 

Location

  • Remote, but looking for candidates based in Mumbai or Bangalore
