Vice President of Manufacturing

Job Purpose

To lead and oversee the complete manufacturing operations for OSD, Semi-Solid, and Liquid Process Equipment, ensuring world-class quality, efficient production planning, process optimisation, and on-time delivery across all divisions. The role is responsible for building high-performance teams, strengthening systems, and supporting Anish’s long-term growth strategy.

Reports to:

Principal Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for OSD, Semi-Solid & Liquid equipment divisions.
• Drive production planning, resource allocation, and on-time delivery across all product lines.
• Oversee fabrication, assembly, finishing, testing, and documentation.
• Strengthen processes to improve productivity, reduce rework, and optimise overall efficiency.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, engineering standards, and regulatory norms.
• Coordinate with Design, Procurement, QC, Planning, and Service for seamless project execution.
• Lead vendor development, outsourcing quality, and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Support technical reviews, FAT activities, and customer interactions.
• Build and mentor high-performance teams across all manufacturing units.
• Monitor KPIs, review MIS, and drive continuous improvement across divisions.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Behaviours

• Education:

  Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production. Management degree is an added advantage.

• Experience:

  15 – 25 years in capital equipment manufacturing, ideally in Pharma, Chemical, Food & allied industry.

• Knowledge:

  Market trends, Product & process know-how, Fabrication processes, welding standards, finishing, and assembly processes, Technical drawings, Costing drivers, Safety Standards, Quality Standards, New Technologies.

• Skills:

  Strong technical understanding, Production planning & scheduling, Process optimisation, Quality control & inspection skills, People management, Cross-functional coordination, Safety-first mindset, Time management & multi-project handling, Problem-solving and root-cause analysis, effective communication

• Behaviours:

  Ownership-driven, Continuous improvement mindset, Calm under pressure, Attention to detail, Integrity & reliability
