Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Manager located in Mumbai or Gujrat. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to meet business objectives. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing sales operations, managing customer relationships, preparing sales reports, and identifying new business opportunities. The Sales Manager will also be involved in negotiating contracts, handling customer inquiries, and coordinating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. Job Purpose: Acquire new customers and drive sales growth for Anish Pharma’s process equipment by leveraging technical expertise and market insights. Reports to: GM or VP – Sales / Business Development Principal Responsibilities: Acquire new customers from the PAN India market in pharma and allied industry segments for Ointment Manufacturing Plants, Liquid Manufacturing Plants and Compounding Vessels Conduct customer visits for need identification, technical scope discussions, project guidance, negotiations and closures. Generate leads through industry networking, referrals, and trade shows. Drive sales growth and enquiry-to-order conversions for capital equipment. Benchmark against competitor offerings and develop proactive strategies. Collaborate with Design/NPD and co-ordinate with FAT & Dispatch teams to ensure smooth execution and timely customer updates. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and building references. Build and strengthen long-term customer relationships to enhance loyalty and trust. Provide technical inputs for marketing campaigns and regulatory compliance. Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline visibility, and performance reporting. Travel Requirement: Approximately 50% to 70% travel is required for client visits, project discussions, trade shows in India Education, Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Behaviours Education: Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics. Management degree is an added advantage. Experience: 04 – 08 years in Capital Equipment sales/business development, ideally in Pharma & allied industry. Knowledge: Market Trends, Competitor Landscape, Product & Process Know-how, Technical updates. Skills: Negotiation, Strategic Business Development, New Customer Acquisition, Account Management, Presentation, Communication, Time Management.
