Job Overview The Vice President of Liability Insurance Sales is responsible for driving the strategic direction, growth, and management of the liability insurance sales division. This senior leadership role will oversee a team of sales professionals, develop key client relationships, and drive revenue growth through innovative sales strategies. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in liability insurance and a strong track record of building high-performance sales teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to expand the company’s liability insurance market share and drive revenue growth. Ensure the sales strategy aligns with broader organizational goals to drive unified business growth. Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives and fostering a collaborative environment. Identify and target new business opportunities, leveraging market insights to enhance product offerings and meet emerging client needs. Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, brokers, and industry partners to enhance brand loyalty and establish long-term partnerships. Oversee sales processes, manage budgets, and optimize operations to ensure efficiency and profitability. Utilize data analytics to monitor team performance, client trends, and KPIs, adjusting strategies to exceed sales goals. Collaborate with Product Development, Underwriting, and Marketing teams to ensure product alignment with client needs and drive targeted campaigns. Ensure all sales practices adhere to industry regulations and corporate policies, minimizing risk exposure for the company. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred. Experience 12+ years of experience in insurance sales with a focus on liability of about 3+ years Proven experience of at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role, with a track record of achieving revenue targets and leading large sales teams. Skills In-depth knowledge of liability insurance products, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities Proficiency in CRM systems and data analytics tools. Closed 50+ mid-market accounts annually between 20L-1cr GWP of liability portfolio Consistently drove team performance, achieving 15-20 liability clients conversions per month per team member Managed a team of placements, sales managers etc of team size 5-10 members Key Details Location: Mumbai Compensation: Competitive market pay along with a variable performance-based component Date of Joining: 15 August 2025 Show more Show less
