Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of 10–15 professionals, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of regulatory capital and Risk Weighted Asset (RWA) reporting.Manage the accurate calculation of RWAs and provide detailed analysis and commentary on monthly and quarterly movements.Ensure timely preparation and submission of quarterly capital returns to APRA and Pillar 3 disclosures, maintaining strict compliance with regulatory standards.Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and regulators, handling ad hoc requests and providing insights to senior management across the Bank.Identify and drive strategic initiatives to improve data quality, efficiency, and effectiveness across capital reporting processes.Collaborate with internal and external system owners to ensure robust data flows, quality checks, and control mechanisms are in place.About The Team Structure
You will report into the Head of Capital Reporting, who oversees a team of approximately 60 people within Group Treasury.The Capital Reporting function is split into three key verticals:Capital Supply – responsible for finalising capital ratiosRWA Calculation – responsible for accurate computation of Risk Weighted AssetsIntercompany Monitoring & Reporting – responsible for exposure and leverage ratio reportingWhat We’re Looking For
Proven leadership experience, ideally managing teams of 8+, with the capability to lead a larger group of senior professionals.Deep subject matter expertise in RWA calculation is highly preferred; experience in capital supply, leverage ratio, or intercompany reporting is advantageous.Strong academic background in a financial or quantitative discipline (e.g. finance, economics, actuarial science, mathematics, or engineering); CA, CPA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.Strong understanding of regulatory capital frameworks, shared services models, and transformation of capital platforms.A hands-on leader with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Demonstrated experience in system enhancements and process transformation is highly desirable.In today’s complex and evolving regulatory landscape, capital reporting leaders are no longer just custodians of compliance — they are strategic partners in shaping business decisions and driving resilience.
