You will lead the company's financial strategy, operational rigor, and capital allocation. Your mission is to establish a scalable, investment-ready financial foundation and drive decisions that maximize shareholder value, blending operational efficiency with strategic growth planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Fundraising & Capital Strategy: Lead the preparation for future funding rounds (Seed, Series A). Develop and refine the investor narrative, financial models, and diligence materials. Advise the leadership team on optimal capital structure (debt vs. equity).
• Strategic Financial Planning: Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Translate business strategy into actionable financial plans and ensure rigorous ROI analysis across all departments.
• Financial Operations & Compliance: Own the end-to-end finance, accounting, and compliance functions. Ensure timely and accurate reporting, tax compliance (GST, TDS), and maintenance of robust internal controls.
• Growth & Unit Economics: Deeply analyze unit economics (LTV, CAC, Payback) across all verticals (B2C, D2C). Identify opportunities for revenue leakage prevention and profit optimization.
• System & Team Leadership: Implement and automate financial systems (ERP, MIS) to support scale. Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing finance and accounting team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• VC/PE Background (Mandatory): You have 7+ years of progressive experience, including a significant tenure as an Investment Analyst, Investment Associate, Principal, or Vice President within a leading Venture Capital or Private Equity firm.
• Fundraising Expertise: Proven expertise in the end-to-end fundraising process, financial due diligence, and building complex valuation models for high-growth tech startups.
• Financial Acumen: Exceptional proficiency in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and structuring complex debt and equity transactions.
• Startup Operator: Strong operational finance experience, including accounting, compliance, and managing the financial function within a high-growth startup environment.
• Industry Fit: Previous experience in consumer tech, D2C, or hyperlocal services is highly preferred.
• Impact: A track record of driving operational efficiency and providing strategic insights that directly led to profitable revenue growth.
