JOB OBJECTIVE
To assist with the coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of the supply chain management function to ensure a smooth flow of goods and services in support of the assets under BSM management.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the Supply Chain Management Function overall to achieve a strategy of non-interrupted delivery of all goods and services to maintain assets, provide transparency and, visibility and to operate within globally recognized compliance and ethical standards.
- Assist in establishing and regularly review Supply Chain Management Procedures and Manual in close coordination with the SMC’s and SCM team.
- Understand the Procurement KPIs, policy and processes for BSM and assist in follow up that procurement compliance is met by all internal and external stakeholders and escalate to SCM - Assistant Manager for corrective action in case of non-compliance to support BSM’s strategy, objectives and KPIs.
- Assist the SCM - Assistant Manager to liaise with SMCs for vendor feedback/evaluation/performance, pricing feedback, recommending approved vendors for contract, turnover reports, contracted/non-contracted vendor usage analysis.
- Assist the SCM - Assistant Manager to perform Vendor Audits, compile data etc.as required by BSM / Genpro.
- First level support for eConnect.
- Training vendors and users on eConnect process.
- Assist Business Process Analyst with testing and UAT of Change Requests/enhancements in Purchase PAL.
- Supports Group initiatives, projects, systems, and developments.
- Actively manage the supplier database by vetting new suppliers, adding them to the system and ensure all supplier updates are routinely entered.
- Ensure positive supplier relationship management with timely responses to queries, customer feedback/supplier evaluations and the avoidance of supplier risk by ensuring agreed terms of payment to vendors
- Customer Satisfaction Survey and Supplier Evaluation consolidation.
Requirements
Work Experience:
Around 2-3 years ‘experience working in procurement domain.
Previous Experience In Ship Management Preferred.
Knowledge in Supply Chain management will be added advantage.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
Job-Specific Skills
Knowledge or experience in accounting / cost control / supply chain management in maritime environment will be preferred.Good interpersonal and communications skills for relationship management with internal/external customerFluency in EnglishPC literacy
