Role DefinitionA Unisex Hair Dresser & Beautician is responsible for delivering high-quality hair and beauty services to both male and female clients. This includes cutting, coloring, styling, skin treatments, facials, waxing, threading, and more. The role demands professionalism, technical expertise, a deep understanding of client needs, and a commitment to hygiene, service excellence, and the Solasta brand experience.

Key Responsibilities·
1. Salon Service Delivery
· - Provide professional haircuts, styling, coloring, and chemical treatments for all genders.
· - Perform skincare treatments, facials, clean-ups, waxing, threading, and basic makeup.
· - Ensure personalized consultation to understand client expectations.
· - Maintain excellent hygiene and follow SOPs for each service.
· - Use salon tools and products efficiently, safely, and as per training.
· 2. Client Relationship Management
· - Greet clients warmly and maintain a friendly demeanor throughout their visit.
· - Offer personalized service with attention to client preferences and sensitivities.
· - Address concerns, seek feedback, and aim for maximum client satisfaction.
· - Build long-term rapport to encourage repeat visits and client loyalty.
· 3. Sales & Upselling
· - Recommend services and retail products based on client needs.
· - Upsell treatments and promote service packages and salon promotions.
· - Maintain knowledge of all ongoing offers and actively promote them.
· 4. Inventory & Equipment Maintenance
· - Ensure workstation cleanliness and tool sterilization after every service.
· - Use products mindfully and report low stock to the salon manager.
· - Handle equipment and products with care to reduce breakage or wastage.
· 5. Teamwork & Collaboration
· - Coordinate with other staff (stylists, receptionists, beauticians) for smooth operations.
· - Assist and mentor junior staff as needed.
· - Communicate effectively and respectfully within the team.
· 6. Reporting & Administration
· - Maintain accurate daily service logs and client notes when required.
· - Report punctuality, leave, client complaints, or technical issues to the manager.
· - Assist with appointment scheduling and front desk coordination when needed.
Tasks & Activities·
Haircuts, styling, coloring, straightening, curling, etc.
Facials, threading, waxing, pedicure, manicure, and cleanup services.
Personal consultations and client grooming advice.
Cleaning and organizing the workstation pre- and post-service.
Suggesting products and aftercare regimens to clients.
Attending training programs or workshops.
Reporting Structure·
Reports To: Salon Manager or Assistant Manager
· Coordinates With: Receptionist, fellow stylists, beauticians, and support staff
· Escalates To: Salon Manager for complaints, service issues, or product needs
