Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Travel Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in travel sales, team leadership, and client relationship management. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify new business opportunities, optimize sales processes, and ensure exceptional service delivery to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and manage the travel sales team.
  • Set performance targets and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Provide coaching and support to improve team performance.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key corporate and individual clients.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
  • Handle escalated client issues and resolve them effectively.
  • Product Knowledge & Promotion:
  • Stay updated on travel destinations, packages, and promotions.
  • Work closely with product and marketing teams to create attractive travel offerings.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
  • Track sales performance and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor KPIs such as conversion rates, client retention, and revenue growth.
  • Partnerships & Networking:
  • Build and maintain relationships with travel partners (airlines, hotels, DMCs, etc.).
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in travel sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of travel industry systems (GDS, CRM, booking platforms).
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in B2B and B2C travel sales.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Employment Type: Full-time

  • Salary Range: 20k to 45K

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
