The Astronomy Expert will be responsible for educating guests about astronomy, conducting night sky observations, operating telescopes, developing astronomy programs, and guiding guests during their stay. As an SGX, your responsibilities will include operating telescopes and observation equipment, leading informative sky tours, managing event crowds, and ensuring equipment safety. You must be flexible to work at different sites, travel frequently, and be available during evenings/nights for stargazing activities. Previous teaching or public speaking experience would be advantageous. The selection process for this position will involve four rounds of interviews, including HR interaction, testing of astronomy knowledge, assessment of presentation skills, and final suitability evaluation. Upon selection, you will undergo a 12-month training period with hands-on field experience, accommodation, and food provided by the company. An accommodation and food deposit of 15,000 is required during training, which is refundable/adjustable.
