Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in various testing methodologies and a passion for

ensuring software quality. This role will be pivotal in maintaining our high standards and delivering top-notch products to our clients.

How you will contribute

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test cases using Gherkin syntax.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing to ensure the quality and performance of our applications.
• Utilize test case management tools to organize and track testing activities.
• Collaborate with development and product teams in an Agile environment, participating actively in sprints.
• Conduct API and backend testing using Postman.
• Write basic SQL queries for database testing.
• Understand and validate JSON and XML formats for requests and responses.
• Perform in-sprint testing to ensure features are tested within the development cycle.
• Participate in code freeze and release exit processes to ensure smooth deployments.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in writing test cases using Gherkin syntax.
• Proven experience in functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Experience with test case management tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working within sprints.
• Hands-on experience with Postman for API and backend testing.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for writing and executing queries.
• Understanding of JSON & XML formats for request and response validation.
• Experience in conducting in-sprint testing.
• Knowledge of code freeze and release exit processes.
