Test Automation Specialist

Job Title: Automation Test Engineer (JavaScript + API + DB Testing)

Location : Hyderabad

Experience: 6-9 yrs

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in JavaScript, API automation, and database testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building automation frameworks from scratch using Cypress/Selenium or other tools, and familiarity with the Cucumber framework.

Experience with Cypress is a major plus.

Primary Skills:

• JavaScript with automation scripting
• Cucumber framework
• API automation (preferably using Rest Assured or similar tools)
• Database testing (SQL, data validation)

Secondary Skills (Mandate):

• Cypress automation framework development experience

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop test automation frameworks from scratch
• Perform end-to-end API automation and validation
• Conduct database validations and backend data testing
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure test coverage
• Contribute to improving automation practices and test strategies
