Role Summary:

The Territory Sales Manager (Project Sales) will be responsible for generating business through project-based sales channels such as government departments, builders, contractors, architects, consultants, and electrical contractors. The role demands end-to-end management of project sales — from lead generation, technical coordination, tendering, and quotation submission to order closure and collection.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lighting solutions, project sales processes, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and manage project-based clients including government bodies, EPC contractors, builders, architects, and consultants.
  • Generate new project leads and maintain strong follow-ups for timely closure.
  • Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders.
  • Coordinate with the internal design and technical team for BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and lighting solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with tender terms, specifications, and documentation requirements.
  • Liaise with purchase departments, project heads, and consultants to finalize orders.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and collection targets for project business.
  • Maintain and update project pipelines, forecasts, and follow-up reports.
  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and product positioning in the project segment.
  • Support marketing and branding initiatives at trade fairs, exhibitions, and project sites.
  • Provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering (Preferred).
  • 3–6 years of experience in Project Sales of LED lighting, electricals, or construction materials.
  • Strong network with builders, contractors, architects, and consultants.
  • Knowledge of lighting design, BOQ preparation, tender documentation, and pricing.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and WhatsApp reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and handle long sales cycles.
  • Two-wheeler with valid driving license (mandatory).
