Project Role : Technology Support Engineer Project Role Description : Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution. Must have skills : Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) Good to have skills : NA Minimum 7.5 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Technology Support Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic work environment where your primary focus will be on resolving incidents and problems that arise across various business system components. Your typical day will involve ensuring operational stability, creating and implementing Requests for Change, and updating knowledge base articles to facilitate effective troubleshooting. You will also collaborate with vendors and assist service management teams in analyzing and resolving issues, contributing to a seamless operational flow and enhanced service delivery. Experience leading IT Owners on development and maintenance of comprehensive IT Disaster Recovery Plans for applications and infrastructure Collaborate with IT teams to ensure recovery solutions meet recovery objectives; able to educate IT teams ITDR principles, roles, responsibilities and standards Manages a group of applications for reactive questions, tasks related to DR and also proactively to drive compliance adherence via recovery solutions, plan and test. Establish clear roles, responsibilities and communication channels for DR activities across IT - communicate DR policies and standards compliance through regular contact with IT teams Coordinate and conduct Disaster Recovery testing and exercises to validate the effectiveness of recovery procedures through a test lifecycle process of pre-test planning, execution and posttest review and reporting Lead DR tabletop exercises with multiple IT teams Identify and report gaps in recovery solutions, plans and/or procedures with recommendations/after actions to be performed Ensure testing aligns with compliance requirements such as regulatory audits and that all test artifacts are well documented for future reference Understands BC/DR frameworks, methodologies and technologies Detail oriented, good communicator, multi-tasker This candidate will have experience in a DR team as a contributor May have a CBCP or an ABCP certification or similar Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR). - Strong understanding of incident management processes and frameworks. - Experience with risk assessment and business impact analysis. - Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and execution. - Ability to develop and maintain documentation related to BCDR processes. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR). - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
