Role Overview:

detail-oriented Technical Writer

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Documentation:
Capture functional and non-functional requirements in
BRDs
and technical specifications.
Runbooks & Operational Guides:
Develop detailed runbooks for system operations, troubleshooting, and incident management.
API & System Documentation:
Document backend APIs, workflows, and integration points for internal and external stakeholders.
Formatting & Publishing:
Prepare documents in
Word, PDF
, and other required formats; maintain version control.
Collaboration:
Work with developers, architects, and product managers to gather information and validate technical details.
Standards & Compliance:
Ensure documentation adheres to organizational standards and compliance requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
Update and maintain documentation repositories; suggest improvements for clarity and usability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4–8 years of experience in technical writing for
software or IT systems
.
Strong proficiency in
MS Word, PDF tools
, and documentation platforms (
Confluence, SharePoint
).
Experience creating
BRDs, functional specifications, and runbooks
.
Ability to understand
technical concepts
(APIs, cloud systems, data flows) and translate them into clear documentation.
Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
Familiarity with
diagramming tools
(Lucidchart, Draw.io, Visio) for architecture and workflow diagrams.
