About the Company

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutanix Implementation and Administrator to join our team and play a pivotal role in the implementation and ongoing management of our Nutanix-based infrastructure. This position will involve a wide range of responsibilities, from initial deployment and configuration to ongoing maintenance and optimization.

Location: Mumbai

Salary: 8 LPA

Experience: 2+ Years

Education: Preferably BE in IT/Computers, B.Sc IT

Responsibilities

• Implementation:

• Design and implement Nutanix clusters, including hardware and software components.
• Configure Nutanix AOS and AHV to meet specific business requirements.
• Integrate Nutanix with existing infrastructure components, such as storage, networking, and security solutions.
• Perform initial system setup and configuration, including network configuration, storage provisioning, and VM creation.

• Administration:

• Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Manage and maintain Nutanix clusters, including software upgrades, patch management, and security updates.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups, restores, and data replication.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Nutanix infrastructure.
• Optimize Nutanix performance through capacity planning, performance tuning, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support.

• Security:

• Implement and maintain security best practices for Nutanix environments.
• Configure security policies, such as firewall rules, access controls, and encryption.
• Monitor security logs and respond to security incidents.

Qualifications

• Nutanix Expertise:

• In-depth knowledge of Nutanix AOS and AHV.
• Experience with Nutanix Prism Central and other management tools.
• Strong understanding of Nutanix clustering, storage, and networking concepts.

• Virtualization:

• Proficiency in virtualization technologies, such as VMware vSphere or Hyper-V.
• Experience with VM migration and management.

• Storage:

• Knowledge of storage protocols (NFS, SMB, iSCSI).
• Understanding of storage tiering and deduplication.

• Networking:

• Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing).
• Experience with network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Security:

• Knowledge of security best practices for data centers and cloud environments.
• Understanding of encryption, access control, and security policies.

• Problem-solving:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Communication:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

• Certifications:
• Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) certifications are highly preferred.
