Job Title: Strategic Business Analyst Location: Pune (Work from Office) Reports To: Management Team, through the Project Management Office (PMO) About the Role: Softcell is looking for an intellectually curious and execution-oriented Strategic Business Analyst to join the Project Management Office supporting the Management Team. In this cross-functional and high-visibility role, you will work directly with senior leadership to analyse critical aspects of the business, enhance forecasting processes, explore AI-led automation, and enable operational efficiencies. Your work should enable the Management Team to focus more on future planning and strategic growth. Key Responsibilities: Support the Management Team in reviewing business performance and shaping strategic initiatives. Build and refine forecasting models using business data and market trends. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on using AI tools for automation and data-driven insights. Analyse key operational processes across functions to identify bottlenecks and opportunities. Develop executive dashboards and presentations for business reviews and decision-making forums. Track progress of strategic projects run by the Project Management Office and ensure timely execution. Who You Are: Postgraduate in Business with specialisation in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related fields. Professional qualification such as CFA or MBA is preferred. 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, strategy, consulting, or a similar analytical role. Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and business intelligence tools. Exposure to AI, automation, or predictive analytics is an added advantage. Excellent communication skills and comfort working with senior stakeholders. A structured thinker with a bias for action and a passion for solving real business problems.
