Job Purpose
We are seeking a Level 3 Technical Specialist and Delivery Lead Monitoring Tools SME for HPE OpsRamp, SolarWinds, Manage Engine Ops Manager, Nagios and Zabbix etc. The candidate must have advanced experience in implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization of the various monitoring platforms. This role demands deep expertise in hybrid IT monitoring, automation, and integrations, along with the ability to mentor L1/L2 teams and serve as a technical authority for Monitoring tools delivery in enterprise environments.
Certifications
- ITIL Foundation (Intermediate/Expert preferred)
- AI-related training or certification (added advantage)
- Certification in HPE - OpsRamp, GreenLake, OneView, SolarWinds, Manage Engine or related ITOM tools
Experience
810 years of hands-on experience in IT Monitoring Tool Deployment, Implementation, Operational Support, and Report Building
Responsibilities (includes All Tasks)
Key Responsibilities
- Act as SME for delivery and operational support across hybrid IT environments
- Design and optimize Monitoring solutions for on-prem, cloud, and edge infrastructures
- Lead onboarding, discovery, service mapping, alert correlation, and runbook automation
- Troubleshoot complex incidents escalated from L1/L2 teams
- Build automation scripts and runbooks to improve operational efficiency
- Integrate Monitoring tools with ITSM tools (Ivanti, ServiceNow, BMC) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Drive governance, best practices, and process improvements
- Conduct knowledge transfer and training for L1/L2 teams
- Collaborate with HPE/global teams for upgrades and roadmap alignment
- Document SOPs, playbooks, solution designs, and RCA reports
Tools & Automation
- Use HPE OpsRamp, SolarWinds, Manage Engine Ops Manager, Nagios and Zabbix etc for infrastructure monitoring
- Develop automation scripts and ITSM-integrated alert/ticketing workflows
- Maintain SOPs, KT decks, and performance dashboards
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with service desk, network, system, and application teams
- Support onboarding, infrastructure readiness, and manage escalations
Leadership & Communication
- Mentor L1L2 staff; develop upskilling roadmaps and rotation plans
- Lead infrastructure projects with cross-functional teams
- Deliver executive reports, dashboards, and audit committee updates
Technical Skills /Competencies
MANDATORY
- 3+ years hands-on experience with HPE OpsRamp
- Knowledge of observability platforms (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Datadog, Prometheus)
- Experience in Managed Services / NOC delivery
OPTIONAL
- AI-based implementation or support
- HPE certifications (OpsRamp, GreenLake, OneView)
- Certifications in monitoring tools such as Manage Engine Op Manager, SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios and PRTG etc will be added advantage.
