We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to lead agile delivery among teams with diverse expertise, promoting efficient teamwork, visibility, and ongoing improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of agile principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remove impediments that block team progress. A solid understanding of technical concepts and risk management will be a strong plus.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Drive agile adoption within the team by promoting best practices, transparency, and accountability.
- Work closely with product owners to ensure the backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and ready for execution.
- Track, report, and communicate sprint progress, impediments, and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and dependencies to minimize delivery impact.
- Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams (development, QA, business, and operations).
- Support continuous improvement by analyzing sprint metrics and identifying process enhancement opportunities.
- Mentor team members on agile principles and help cultivate a self-organizing, high-performing culture.
- Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and delivery leads to ensure alignment across teams and projects.
- Encourage data-driven decision-making and maintain focus on business outcomes and customer value.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of technical concepts — ability to engage meaningfully with engineering teams, understand architectural discussions, and facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent).
- Solid knowledge of risk management frameworks — ability to identify, analyze, mitigate, and track project and delivery risks.
- Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
- Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) preferred.
- Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps, or cloud environments is a plus.
