About the Role
As a Sourcing Specialist (Technical Recruitment), you will be the driving force behind identifying and attracting top-tier technical talent for our product and engineering teams. This role demands deep sourcing expertise, market awareness, and a strategic mindset to fill critical and leadership roles in a competitive tech landscape.

What You ll Do:
End-to-end ownership of sourcing for technical, product, and leadership roles. Expert-level headhunting to identify and engage with passive talent through platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and niche tech communities.
Lead targeted leadership hiring efforts, including Engineering Managers, Directors,
and other senior roles. Strategically target candidates from product-based companies or organizations with similar tech stacks. Use layoff tracking, market intelligence, and tech news to source high-potential talent from recently impacted professionals. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of diverse, qualified talent through proactive outreach, talent mapping, and relationship nurturing. Collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to align on role requirements, sourcing strategy, and hiring timelines. Stay ahead of tech trends, company movements, and funding news to identify sourcing opportunities early. Leverage data to track sourcing effectiveness, campaign success, and pipeline quality via ATS and CRM tools.

What You ll Need:
5+ years of proven experience in technical sourcing or recruitment, ideally within fast-paced product-based tech companies. Strong expertise in Boolean search, X-ray, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools like SeekOut, AmazingHiring, or HireEZ. Demonstrated ability in headhunting and closing passive candidates for high-impact technical roles. Solid understanding of engineering functions, tech stacks, and modern product org structures. Experience with leadership hiring and managing sensitive outreach for executive-level talent. Ability to build strategic company targeting lists and execute competitive talent mapping. Passion for staying updated on industry shifts, startup news, and emerging technologies. Proficiency with modern ATS platforms and a data-driven approach to sourcing metrics. Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills. MBA in HR or a related field is strongly preferred.
Nice to Have:
Experience hiring across multiple geographies or remote tech teams. Exposure to employer branding or diversity sourcing initiatives. Previous work in a hyper-growth or scaling startup environment.
