We are looking for an experienced WordPress Technical Project Manager who started their career as a WordPress developer and now leads delivery for complex WordPress projects.

You will manage end-to-end execution of custom WordPress builds—themes, plugins, WooCommerce, multisite setups—ensuring timely delivery, high code quality, and smooth communication between clients and internal teams.

• Manage end-to-end delivery of WordPress-only projects (custom themes, plugins, WooCommerce stores, multisite, ACF, Gutenberg/Elementor builds).
• Conduct client discovery, requirement gathering, and project scoping.
• Convert functional and technical requirements into detailed project plans, sprints, and task breakdowns.
• Coordinate with WordPress developers, designers, QA, SEO, and DevOps teams.
• Lead sprint planning, standups, retros, and weekly delivery reviews using ClickUp/Jira.
• Monitor timelines, billable hours, utilization, and project profitability.
• Ensure adherence to WordPress best practices, coding standards, and internal SOPs.
• Identify risks, handle scope creep, and resolve delivery blockers proactively.
• Maintain clear client communication—status reports, delays, risks, and approvals.
• Use or explore AI tools to improve estimation, QA checks, content generation, and automation.

• 5+ years of project management experience, with hands-on experience managing WordPress projects.
• Strong technical understanding of:
• WordPress architecture (themes, plugins, custom post types, taxonomies)
• ACF, Elementor, Gutenberg, WooCommerce
• HTML, CSS basics, and plugin/theme customization concepts
• Ability to manage multiple WordPress client accounts concurrently.
• Experience with ClickUp, Jira, Trello or similar PM tools.
• Strong documentation, functional briefing, and client communication skills.
• Understanding of Git workflows, deployments, and basic hosting/server environments (cPanel, Cloudways, Kinsta, etc.).
• Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.

• Knowledge of WordPress performance optimization, security hardening, and technical SEO.
• Experience with accessibility/ADA compliance for WordPress websites.
• Familiarity with AI-based estimation/QA tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, WP automation tools).
• Experience working in a white-label or digital agency environment.
• Exposure to headless WordPress, React, or frontend frameworks.

Lead key WordPress accounts, guide delivery teams, and help drive the adoption of AI-based process improvements. You will play a critical role in scaling E2M’s WordPress delivery operations for our global agency partners.
