ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: The Product Analysis and Customer Support (PACS) team provides expert-level support to clients using Temenos products, including those in the implementation phase as well as live customers. PACS manages all client support requests, ensuring seamless product experience and client satisfaction. We are seeking an experienced Technology Expert / Senior Software Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with strong technical expertise in T24 Transact , Java, and middleware technologies . The selected candidate will play a key role in resolving client incidents efficiently and professionally while progressively developing into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Core and Technology areas of T24. If you are an experienced Java developer with a background in Temenos frameworks and a proven ability to resolve client issues within defined SLAs while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction, we would like to meet you. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze and resolve client-reported incidents. Debug and troubleshoot issues in Java-based services interacting with T24, ensuring timely resolution in line with SLA commitments. Provide proactive, clear, and timely communication to clients and internal stakeholders throughout the incident lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Infrastructure, DBAs) to resolve complex issues efficiently with effective stakeholder engagement. Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and contribute to permanent fixes or provide appropriate workarounds. Continuously enhance technical knowledge of various Temenos product architecture, runtime internals, Java integrations, and middleware technologies. Manage configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of enterprise web/application servers including JBoss, IBM WebSphere, and Oracle WebLogic. Leverage automation and scripting skills using Shell scripting, with exposure to Python, Jenkins, or Ansible as an advantage. Apply knowledge of operating systems such as Linux (RHEL preferred), UNIX, and Windows Server for basic troubleshooting and operational tasks. Ability to work under pressure and handle production critical issues. Demonstrate leadership potential, with a long-term path toward SME status in technology domains. REQUIRED SKILLS: BE/Btech candidate with 3–7 years of experience in core banking technical support or development, ideally with exposure to Temenos product or similar core banking platforms Strong hands-on experience with Core Java / Enterprise Java development. Practical working knowledge of Temenos frameworks Proficiency in debugging across T24 Core, integration layers, and Java customizations. Familiarity with JMS, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and integration frameworks (optional but advantageous). Comfort working in Linux environments, with basic SQL knowledge (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
