ABOUT COMPANY Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (KIAB/ BLR Airport), named after founder of the City – Hiriya Kempegowda – has the unique distinction of being the first Greenfield Airport in India, established on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. This heralded a revolution in Indian aviation, as more airports in the Country were privatised, thereafter. JOB PURPOSE The Implementation Technical Manager will lead the adoption and execution of Gen AI-driven solutions at Bengaluru Airport . This role involves identifying opportunities, deploying solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with airport operations. The candidate will collaborate with business teams, technology partners, and stakeholders to drive & enhance passenger experience, and optimize airport operations. Technical Manager will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of Generative AI projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The role includes validating designs, and ensuring that all implementations adhere to best practices and security standards, in consultation with OEM and vendor partner. The Technical Manager will work closely with internal business stakeholders and external partners to align Gen AI initiatives with business objectives, monitor project progress, and effectively communicate updates to the leadership team. The role also includes ongoing project managing & overseeing the development of these solutions, ensuring reliability, security, and continuous improvement. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES End-to-End Project Management Manage and oversee the complete lifecycle of IT projects, including planning, design, execution, and maintenance. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet technical and business requirements. Provide regular updates to the leadership team on project status, issues, and risk mitigation plan Identify Opportunities Work with business teams to identify areas where Gen AI can enhance efficiency and customer experience. Analyze latest GenAI/AI trends, and assess feasibility for airport operations. Gen AI Solution Design and Implementation Review Gen AI solution requirements and designs to ensure alignment with business goals, and recommend best practices for scalable, secure, and efficient implementation. Collaboration with Internal and External Stakeholders Collaborate with business stakeholders to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with business needs. Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals. Application Development & Delivery Quality Assurance & Performance Monitoring Oversee the development and deployment of AI, Gen AI solutions Ensure that applications meet user experience and standards. Monitor and refine AI solutions to ensure continuous improvement and scalability. Manage relationships with external vendors responsible for executing AI and digital projects. Monitor and evaluate the quality of solutions delivered by vendors to ensure they meet the specified requirements. Conduct regular performance reviews, analyzing results and implementing improvements or adjustments as necessary. Continuous Improvement & Innovation Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, Gen AI, and digital technologies to propose innovative solutions. Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and support the development of cross-functional teams in AI, IT, and data science projects. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Education qualification and certifications M.C.A. / B.E. / B. Tech Degree in IT with relevant experience. Years of Experience 7 - 10 years of total experience Experience in technology leadership roles, focusing on AI applications and AI-powered automation Understanding of regulatory and ethical considerations related to new technologies. Experience with rapid prototyping, proof-of-concept development, implementation, and agile methodologies Experience with rapid prototyping, proof-of-concept development, implementation, and agile methodologies Computer skills Experience in Gen AI applications, AI Frameworks, machine learning models development and AI-powered automation Experience in leading programming Languages required for Gen AI , machine learning models development and previously worked with Backend programming stack Strong understanding of AI and Gen AI technologies (machine learning, LLM , SLM ,NLP, computer vision, etc.) ,data management and data pipelines for efficient Gen AI development. Strong Knowledge in cost-saving approaches for Gen AI infrastructure, model selection, and design optimization to ensure efficient and cost-effective deployment of AI solutions Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for deploying and managing Gen AI solutions Knowledge with monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the performance of AI/GenAI solutions to ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence Project management experience, with proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or traditional project management methodologies. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge and work skills Cybersecurity: Knowledge in Application security, Data security, Infrastructure & Network Security, Identity & Access Management DevSecOps & Security: Knowledge of DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, application and infrastructure security controls and best practices. Project Management Tools: Proficient in tools like Jira, Asana, and Microsoft Project for tracking tasks and managing projects.
