Role Overview:

• Microsoft Purview Setup & Configuration

• Register and scan data sources (Azure SQL, ADLS, Synapse, Fabric workspaces).
• Configure

  Unified Catalog

  domains and data products.
• Enable

  data lineage

  for pipelines and validate lineage completeness.
• Implement

  RBAC

  and role group configurations for governance roles.
• Set up

  Reports/Health dashboards

  and automate governance monitoring.

• Microsoft Fabric Integration

• Connect and configure

  Microsoft Fabric tenant

  for governance readiness.
• Design and implement

  workspace RBAC

  and steward permissions.
• Integrate

  Purview workflows with Fabric tasks

  for automated data access approvals.
• Configure governance for

  OneLake

  ,

  Lakehouse

  ,

  Warehouse

  ,

  Dataflows

  , and

  Power BI artifacts

  .
• Implement

  shortcuts and mirroring governance

  for unified data access.
• Monitor governance posture using

  Purview Hub

  and Fabric governance insights.

• Workflow Automation

• Build automated flows for access requests, approvals, and notifications using

  Power Automate

• Develop issue triage and remediation workflows with audit trails (Purview-managed and SPO + Power Automate variants).
