Technical Lead

The Technical Lead (DCPD) will spearhead the design, implementation, and delivery of advanced technical training programs aimed at enhancing students’ employability and technical expertise. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical and leadership capabilities, capable of driving training excellence, aligning with industry demands, and strengthening placement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and mentor the technical training team, including trainers specializing in Python, Java, Data Structures, C++, and emerging technologies.
• Conduct train-the-trainer programs to ensure quality, consistency, and continuous skill enhancement within the team.

Training Strategy & Program Development

• Design, develop, and update technical training modules aligned with current industry practices and recruiter expectations.
• Integrate employability-focused content, coding best practices, industry projects, and skill-based assessments.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with academic departments and the Training & Placement Cell to map technical competencies with placement requirements.
• Partner with industry experts and hiring partners to ensure relevance and adaptability of training programs.

Student Skill Development & Assessment

• Oversee mock interviews, coding contests, hackathons, and problem-solving workshops to strengthen placement readiness.
• Utilize analytics and performance data to identify skill gaps and personalize training interventions.

Industry Readiness & Technology Adoption

• Ensure training delivery supports Tier-1 and product-based company hiring standards.
• Stay current with evolving technologies, industry tools, and software development methodologies to maintain training competitiveness.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Strong technical expertise in 

  Python, Java, Data Structures, Algorithms, and System Design

  .
• Proven experience leading technical training, Learning & Development initiatives, or a similar leadership role.
• Excellent communication, presentation, planning, and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of campus hiring processes and technical recruitment benchmarks.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with competitive programming platforms such as 

  LeetCode, Codeforces, and HackerRank

  .
• Exposure to cloud technologies, AI/ML, DevOps, or full-stack development.
• Established network of industry professionals, hiring managers, and tech mentors.
