Job Title: Senior Documentum Consultant Location: Pune / Bangalore

Experience Required: 8 – 12 Years Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and self-motivated Documentum Administrator & Developer to join our ECM (Enterprise Content Management) team. This role involves a blend of hands-on administration, development, and support activities for OpenText Documentum and related applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ECM principles, expertise in Java-based customization, and strong troubleshooting skills across Unix/Linux and Windows environments. This is a critical role that ensures high availability and performance of document-centric business services.

Required Skills:

Core Technical Skills (Must-Have)

• Strong experience in Documentum Suite: D2, DFC, DFS, BOF, WDK, DQL, Documentum Administration, Tomcat, CTS, Explore, OTDS

• Development experience using Core Java, Servlets, XML, , SQL, and HTML

• Proficiency with Unix/Linux and Windows OS environments

• Solid understanding of LDAP configuration, Web Services, and RDBMS (PostgreSQL preferred)

Working knowledge of Captiva / Intelligent Capture Key Responsibilities:

Application & Server Administration :

• Excellent grasp of the principles of Enterprise Content Management systems

• Desired experience in Documentum Suite,D2, DFS, DFC, BOF, WDK, DQL, Captiva, Info archive, Tomcat, Xplore, CTS and OTDS.

• Strong Experience in Installation, Upgradation and patching of Documentum Suite and components like D2, Xplore, CTS, Captiva and Info-Archive.

• Experience in Set up and manage application interfaces with SAP and non-SAP systems. Proficient in programming using Core Java and DFC.

• Proficient in programming using Servlets, XML, HTML, SQL

• Design, implement, and maintain automation scripts (e.g., DFC scripts, DCTM jobs) for operational efficiency.

• Proficient in Documentum administration and maintenance activities.

• Good understanding of object-oriented programming, Web Services, LDAP configuration, and RDBMS concepts

• Working knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems.

• Strong analytical skills combined with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with geographically distributed teams

• Participate in the day-to-day administration of the systems, including Incident & Problem Management

• Participate and contribute to change & release management process.

• Strong experience in user access control, workflow and lifecycle configuration.

• Manage auditing, versioning, indexing, job execution, renditions, and batch processing

• As a 24 x 7 x 365 organization, MUST BE willing to work in shifts

• Support business needs via taking-up On-Call responsibilities during weekends and/or public holidays (as and when need arises)
