Job Description

ROLEPURPOSE & OBJECTIVE

  • VehicleFinance Loan is a growing business for Ujjivan SFB. The TeamLeader - Vehicle Finance Loan is an important position that willdrive this business in the respective clusters through RO-BC[feet-on-street]
  • Buildefficient team of Relationship officers/Business Correspondentsin the clusters assigned
  • Overallresponsible for the control and recovery of loans in his/hercatchment through follow-ups & co-ordination with Collections
  • Managerelationship with dealer counters and give inputs forstrengthening the relationship

  • Expectedto drive a minimum business volume of Rs.30 lakh and abovemonthly business
  • Managingmultiple dealer counters
  • Managinga team size of 4-10 RO-BC
  • Managinghiring and placement of Relationship Officers at requireddealerships

  1. KEYDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

Business/Financials

  • Managea team of 4-10 RO-BCs
  • Responsiblefor placing manpower at dealer counters as per businessopportunity
  • Drivebusiness from dealerships through RO-BC. Setting updaily/weekly/monthly targets of RO-BC and ensure same is achieved
  • EnsureRO-BC are productive as per the defined benchmark productivitymatrix and help them achieve their variable pay slabs
  • Ensureefficient staffing by timely recruitment & training of ROs
  • Driveadditional business from alternate channels [referral channel,phone banking leads & pre-qualified leads]
  • Managedealer relationship by close interaction with dealerships throughregular visits

Customer(Both Internal & External)

  • Ensuretraining of RO-BC for educating the customers about timelyrepayments
  • ConductCPV on sample basis to understand the gaps in sourcing andsuggest improvements.
  • Ensureall dealers are onboarded on time and payouts are made on time

InternalProcess

  • Drivecollection of initial EMIs [for 4MOB cases] through the RO-BCs toensure better portfolio health
  • Ensureresolution of non-starters within 15thof the month and drive collection of outstanding charges
  • Ensurethat all disbursed physical files [PDD] are to be submitted toOperations and queries [if any] are resolved within 30 days
  • Ensureall delivered vehicles [financed by the bank] are hypothecated toUjjivan SFB and RC to be submitted within 60 days ofdisbursement. Drive resolution and closure of RC queries

Innovation& Learning

  • Ensurethat all reportees [RO-BC] in his team are up to date on allrelevant guidelines and all products/services offered in the Bank
  • Evaluatethe staff competences in terms of productivity
  • Ensureadherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs forself and reportees
  • Monitorperformance of ROs against defined goals/metrics and takecorrective action wherever required

  1. MINIMUMREQUIREMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Educational

Qualifications

  • Graduate

Experience(Years and Core Experience Type)

  • Minimum2-3 years in sales and documentation of VF Loans, in anNBFC/Bank/HFC/SFB
  • Experiencein managing team of feet-on-street is preferred

Certifications

  • Relevantcertifications shall be an added advantage

FunctionalSkills

  • Abilityto manage team of off-roll and drive sales performance. Will berequired to take complete ownership of VF feet-on-streetperformance
  • Abilityto engage with customers & dealers, Plan & executeMarketing and Sales promotion activities
  • Abilityto speak and read regional language(s)- is desirable. Ability tocommunicate in English (Read-speak-write) is an advantage. Hasgood verbal fluency and uses simple, clear and purposefullanguage.
