Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Team Lead to manage and drive the organisation’s compliance program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all licensing and regulatory requirements are met in a timely and structured manner, while also collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
  • License Management
  • Identify applicable licenses and permissions required for business operations across regions.
  • Apply for new licenses and ensure renewal/closure of the process on time.
  • Maintain a central tracker and repository of all licenses and compliance documents.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Coordinate and liaise with relevant government departments, regulatory bodies, consultants, and internal teams to gather and submit required documentation.
  • Build a network of contacts across the regulatory ecosystem for efficient resolution of queries.
  • Process Management & Structured Execution
  • Design and implement structured processes to track, escalate, and close compliance-related tasks.
  • Drive operational excellence and ensure SLAs are met in all compliance activities.
  • Proactively flag risks and non-compliance issues.
  • Data & Reporting
  • Use Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze compliance data, create reports and dashboards for leadership review.
  • Automate reporting wherever feasible for better visibility and tracking.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work with the Legal, Operations, Finance, and HR teams to ensure coordinated compliance across departments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Law, Business, Public Policy, or related fields). MBA/LLB is a plus.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or licensing processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently handle license applications and government interactions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to extract and compile information from diverse sources.
  • Structured thinking with strong attention to detail and ability to handle ambiguity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level) – formulas, filtering, pivot tables, basic reporting.
  • Self-driven, process-oriented and outcome-focused.
