Talent Acquisition Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Leverage multiple sourcing channels including job portals, social media platforms, professional networks, referrals, and direct sourcing to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Build, maintain, and nurture strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural alignment.
  • Develop and manage a candidate database, ensuring consistent communication and engagement.
  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand workforce planning, long-term talent needs, and critical skill requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
  • Utilize ATS and CRM tools to track, manage, and report candidate progress through the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by effectively communicating Amgens mission, values, culture, and career opportunities.
  • Support and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives within sourcing strategies.
  • Provide regular updates and insights on sourcing progress, market trends, and challenges.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in any discipline.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, or a similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with multiple sourcing techniques and channels.
  • Proven ability to build long-term talent pipelines and engage passive candidates.
  • Proficiency in ATS and CRM tools such as Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, Eightfold, or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting diversity and inclusion hiring initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to AI-driven sourcing tools and technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive and professional approach.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in recruitment analytics, data tracking, and reporting to measure sourcing effectiveness.
