Overview

We are a leading firm in the Civil and Infrastructure industry looking for an experienced and dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. This role is critical for driving our aggressive growth plans by sourcing, assessing, and hiring top-tier talent across various technical and non-technical roles within the construction and infrastructure domain.

The ideal candidate must be an immediate joiner and fluent in both Tamil and Hindi (both written and spoken) to effectively communicate with candidates and stakeholders across diverse project locations in North and South India.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process for positions in the Civil and Infrastructure sector, including roles such as Site Engineers, Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Civil Drafters, Safety Officers, and specialized field staff.

2. Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates, leveraging platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, industry networks, and regional campus placements.

3. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with hiring managers (Project Directors and Department Heads) to understand technical requirements, project needs, and cultural fit for challenging and urgent roles.

4. Candidate Assessment: Conduct initial screening calls, behavioral interviews, and coordinate technical assessments, ensuring a high-quality candidate pipeline.

5. Immediate Joining Focus: Prioritize and accelerate the hiring cycle to meet the need for immediate joiners, managing notice periods and offer negotiations effectively.

6. Data & Metrics: Track and report key recruitment metrics (Time-to-Hire, Source of Hire, etc.) to continuously improve recruiting efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Skills

● Experience: 6 to 8 years of dedicated experience in Talent Acquisition/Recruitment. Experience hiring specifically for the Civil, Construction, Real Estate, or Infrastructure industry is mandatory.

● Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Hindi and Tamil (speaking, reading, and writing) is essential for effective communication with field staff and regional candidates across major project zones.

● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

● Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of civil engineering terminology, project lifecycle stages, and key roles within a construction setup.

● Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be highly organized and capable of handling high-volume recruitment under pressure.

● Availability: Must be able to join immediately or within 15 days maximum.
