Purchase Manager

Job Summary:

We are hiring an experienced Purchase Manager with at least 10 years of expertise in procurement and vendor management for building construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, negotiating with vendors, ensuring cost-effective procurement, and supporting project timelines.Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and execute procurement of construction materials
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules for optimal cost and quality.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites as per construction schedule.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and accounts for material requirements and budgeting.
• Maintain records of purchases, price history, and vendor performance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Handle purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably in Civil Engineering or Supply Chain Management).
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in procurement within the building construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, market trends, and vendor networks.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
