Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain best pricing, quality, and delivery terms
  • Manage vendor relationships and conduct regular performance evaluations
  • Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts, and agreements
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid production or operational delays
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/warehouse teams
  • Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply risks
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards
  • Coordinate with internal departments (production, finance, quality, logistics)
  • Handle cost-reduction initiatives and value engineering activities
