Talent Acquisition & Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities are as follows:

Talent Acquisition

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for IT and technical roles—from sourcing and screening to selection and onboarding.
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies using job portals, social media, employee referrals, and niche platforms.
  • Conduct technical and behavioral interviews to assess candidate fit.
  • Negotiate offers and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Establish strong university connections for

    campus hiring and internship programs

    .
  • Track and report recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, offer acceptance rate, quality of hire).

 

Talent Management & Learning & Development

  • Conduct training needs assessments in collaboration with department heads.
  • Design, implement, and manage learning programs focused on technical upskilling, leadership, and soft skills.
  • Support managers in building

    career development and certification plans

    for employees.
  • Partner with leadership on

    succession planning and internal mobility initiatives

    .
  • Track L&D effectiveness using completion rates, skill improvement metrics, and feedback surveys.
  • Contribute to employee engagement and retention through

    growth-driven HR programs

    .

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. A

    master's degree in HR / MBA in HR

    is preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in sourcing, interviewing, and candidate engagement. Strong negotiation, closing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, talent management frameworks, learning and development, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of IT roles, emerging technologies, and in-demand skills (AI/ML, RPA, Cloud etc.).
