Since 2018, WJCF has been working closely with the key stakeholders, including national and state governments, donors, and other implementing partners on policy design, roll-out and implementation of SRH services with the aim to support the ambitious goal of universal access to quality and accessible RMNCHA services. SRH program at WJCF provides extensive support to the Madhya Pradesh government in scaling access to Comprehensive Abortion Care (CAC) services, driving uptake of modern methods of contraception, addressing supply chain infirmities in family planning commodities, skilling health workers in counselling and service delivery, and identifying new approaches to improve awareness and uptake of family planning services in vulnerable communities across the state. WJCF is also shaping FP ecosystem across the country by supporting adoption of novel contraceptive methods with the aim of increasing contraceptive choices for women. SRH team is driving the market shaping for new methods such as on-demand pericoital pill, and Long-Acting Reversible Contraceptive (LARC) methods such as implants and hormonal IUDs. Project Background As part of WJCF’s efforts to strengthen SRH service delivery across the country, we are working on identification of alternative service delivery and demand generation models to increase visibility and uptake of FP commodities among specific populations that do not use modern contraceptives due to lack of knowledge or access. E-commerce delivery of reproductive health products is one key channel that is being tested as part of this initiative. WJCF has designed an intervention to boost awareness and access to SRH products through e-pharmacy channel which is currently being implemented across 50 cities in India. Position Summary The Analyst will support design and implementation of programs for increasing uptake of family planning methods through new service delivery channels across public and private sectors in India. In addition, this role will require working on other SRH priorities, including comprehensive abortion care, maternal health, and broader family planning services. The Analyst will work with the Program Lead to develop pilot testing and scale-up roadmaps, conducting primary and secondary research, assisting monitoring and evaluation of each intervention tested, collating and synthesizing information to generate high quality insights, coordinating with donors and partners on program design and collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders. They will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, from quantitative analysis to content creation and assisting the team with components which will contribute to data analytics and/or demand generation and supply landscaping. Overview: The Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to the mission of saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in low-and middle-income countries. We work at the invitation of governments to support them and the private sector to create and sustain high-quality health systems. CHAI was founded in 2002 in response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic with the goal of dramatically reducing the price of life-saving drugs and increasing access to these medicines in the countries with the highest burden of the disease. Over the following two decades, CHAI has expanded its focus. Today, along with HIV, we work in conjunction with our partners to prevent and treat infectious diseases such as COVID-19, malaria, tuberculosis, and hepatitis. Our work has also expanded into cancer, diabetes, hypertension, and other non-communicable diseases, and we work to accelerate the rollout of lifesaving vaccines, reduce maternal and child mortality, combat chronic malnutrition, and increase access to assistive technology. We are investing in horizontal approaches to strengthen health systems through programs in human resources for health, digital health, and health financing. WJCF has partnered with the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and state health departments since 2007, providing technical and operational support across key health priorities, including infectious diseases (COVID-19, hepatitis, HIV, TB, vector-borne diseases), non-communicable diseases (cervical cancer, diabetes, sickle cell disease), maternal and child health (anaemia, immunisation, diarrhoea, pneumonia), sexual and reproductive health, health insurance and digital health (AB PM-JAY, ABDM), oxygen and hypoxemia management, safe drinking water, and climate and health. Learn more about our exciting work: http://www.clintonhealthaccess.org Program Overview: In India, the lack of infrastructure at the community level coupled with the non-availability of qualified radiologists to interpret X-ray’s leads to a significant delay in screening and diagnosis of Tuberculosis (TB). Chest X-ray (CXR) is a rapid imaging tool that allows for easy identification of lung abnormalities. CXR is an essential tool for early detection of tuberculosis (TB), and therefore fundamentally instrumental in the fight to eliminate TB. Currently, only 11% of public health facilities in the country have X-ray machines available at Community Health Centres (CHCs) or district hospitals- consequentially delaying the diagnosis of TB or adding to the out-of-pocket expenditure required by patients if done outside the public health facilities. To address these delays at the community level, WJCF, with support from The Global Fund, aims to address the gap by introducing and operationalising hand-held X-ray devices integrated with Computer-Aided Detection (CAD) software. Deployment of a high-sensitive screening tool (X-ray) along with high throughput interpretation (CAD) and subsequent linkage to NAAT for diagnostics would reduce delays in diagnostics and pre-treatment loss to follow-up (LTFU). The project is currently be implemented in 41 urban and rural districts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Ladakh, Meghalaya & Nagaland; and is being further scaled to 15 additional States through direct implementation by State Governments. The project aims to generate local evidence and demonstrate various use cases for portable X-ray + CAD to improve TB case finding and reduce diagnostic delays. With an objective that the local evidence would lead to greater buy-in at the state level, facilitate the effective transition of project activities to the government and support future scale-up using domestic budgets. Position Summary: The Analytics Lead, based out of New Delhi, will be a key member of the C19RM National Project Management Unit (NPMU) and will support the Project Director & Technical Lead for monitoring implementation across all intervention geographies. WJCF is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented individual with demonstrated leadership skills and outstanding analytical skills. The ideal candidate must have excellent communications skills and be able to independently drive engagement with State teams to oversee project implementation. Monitor and support development and maintenance of project MIS and dashboards Support the development of study design and research and evaluation tools, including research protocols, ethics applications, and standard operating procedures (quantitative and qualitative) Where relevant, liaise with academic institutions and/or other implementing partners that might have relevant data that can be leveraged for program monitoring Qualifications: Master's Degree in Engineering, Management, Public Health, Economics or related field Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in M&E, analytics or research Analytical (quantitative and qualitative) skills with the ability to effectively communicate (orally and in written form) to a variety of audiences Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities, as well as creative thinking capabilities High level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Familiarity with emerging technologies for data collection and reporting (including experience using open-source data collection tools like ODK, and BI tools like PowerBI and Tableau); comfort with developing complex data collection forms and dashboards preferred Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and be effective under tight deadlines and in high-pressure situations Willingness to travel if required. What role you will play in our team We are seeking a skilled pore pressure and/ or geomechanics specialist to support well planning and drilling operations through pore pressure, stress and strength analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience integrating multi-disciplinary data (mudlogging, drilling mechanics, laboratory tests and geophysical data) to develop robust pore pressure and/or geomechanical models (analytical and numerical) across various scales. What you will do Develop offset well stick charts summarizing drilling outcomes, incorporating all relevant pressure and stress indicators. Evaluate the response of rock physical properties (e.g., velocity, density, and resistivity) to changes in pressure, stress, and strength. Integrate offset well data with available geological and geophysical information to generate well-specific 1D pre-drill pressure prognoses for efficient well planning. Provide real-time surveillance to support active drilling operations. Integrate wellbore-specific pressure estimates with geological interpretations to identify sub-regional to basin-scale controls on pressure and stresses. Preferred experience in 3D pore pressure and minimum stress models to support development well planning. Review, quality check and analyze laboratory core test data (e.g., rock strength and mechanical properties) and able to integrate with well logs. Conduct borehole enlargement studies using caliper, image logs, cross-dipole sonic, and focal mechanism data. Integrate multi-disciplinary datasets to construct 1D geomechanical models for drilling and injection/production support. Preferred experience in various scales of Geomechanical applications (wellbore stability, sanding, compaction/subsidence, fault slip, depletion/injection related studies) Preferred experience in 1D/3D numerical model building to capture geological boundary conditions.
