About the Role:

Supply Chain Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:

    Develop and implement a new, forward-thinking supply chain and logistics strategy that aligns with the company's long-term business objectives.
  • Operational Management:

    Oversee and optimize all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement of raw materials, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
  • Billing and Financial Oversight:

    Manage the billing and invoicing department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions related to supply chain and logistics.
  • Logistics & Distribution:

    Lead logistics operations, including domestic and international freight, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery to ensure products reach customers efficiently.
  • Performance Analysis:

    Utilize data-driven insights to analyze KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Team Development:

    Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

    Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Risk Management:

    Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:

    A minimum of

    12 years of hands-on experience

    in a similar supply chain management role within the pharmaceutical, chemical, or research and development industry.
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or a professional certification (e.g., APICS) is highly preferred.


  • Skills:

  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic supply chain planning and execution.

  • Strong proficiency in managing billing and financial operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian and international logistics, customs, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain management software.
  • Proven ability to bring in new strategies and drive transformational change.
