Roles and Responsibilities:


1.      Demand/Sales Forecasting and Capacity Planning

·      Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to build accurate Demand Forecasts, across multiple brands (Wholesale trade, General trade, Modern trade, Exports, Job work contracts, etc).

·      Monitor sales trends and adjust Production Scheduling activities accordingly.

·      Align supply chain activities with promotional calendars and seasonal demand spikes.

·      Align Capacity Planning of Manufacturing plants to effectively meet the Production requirements while having an understanding of operational bottlenecks

2.      Production & Inventory Planning

·      Oversee Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) aligned with production forecasts. 

·      Balance inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing waste and holding costs. 

·      Collaborate with Production and R&D teams to manage ingredient lead times and formulation changes effectively.

·      Should have a basic understanding of FMCG Manufacturing operations (incl. Warehouse Management)

3.    Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement

•        Track KPIs (e.g., OTIF – On Time In Full, SOH – Stock On Hand, TAT – Turn Around Time, etc) and report performances. 

•        Lead OTIF improvement, cost-reduction and efficiency projects with a strategic approach.

•        Leverage ERP systems and digital tools for real-time visibility and decision-making. 


Qualifications:

a.      5+ years of supply chain experience, preferably in the Food or Confectionery industry.

b.      Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).

c.      Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. 

d.      Effective communication and leadership abilities.
