Job Purpose/ Summary

Responsible for Raw material Inspection Certificate, Sampling of Pipe & Raw Material, Lab Testing & report preparation, preparation of Inspection Certificate, maitaining calibration of Lab equipements/ instruments, making Histograms, compliance to QMS & NABL

Job Title

SUP-Lab-SAWH To ensure smooth functioning of all activities in LAB and to carry out various activities in LAB for testing purpose To ensure proper inspection of raw material in plant and to verify their test certificates To prepare and maintain data and reports for various review purpose To ensure health and safety of Man and Machine To act as a stable bridge for any and all type of communication

Principal Accountabilities

To ensure smooth functioning of all activities in LAB and to carry out various activities in LAB for testing purpose Ensure availability of TPI before carrying out testing activity. Performing the Mechanical, Chemical testing & NACE testing as per approved ITP & approved process chart. Making testing of sample for control testing per heat. Selection of sample pipe after completion all NDT and cutting as per approved QAP/ITP and sampling plan. Follow up with machine shop for preparation for sample and ensure are prepared as per applicable standard.To ensure proper inspection of raw material in plant and to verify their test certificates Inspection of incoming Raw material as per RMTC and RMTDC and allocation internal number & applied color code for identification grades AND Review the raw material test certificates as per RMTS/ ITP/ RM P.O. / any other applicable specifications. Review the raw material test certificates results of flux and wires as per section ASME II C and applicable work instruction.To prepare and maintain data and reports for various review purpose Preparation of Scrap generation report on weekly /monthly basis as per SOP for each order Preparation of coil inspection report for each coil. Preparation of the work instructions for testing activities & will maintain all testing records as per QAP/ITP. Preparation of MRM/QRM/FTR reports for data Analysis of plant. Preparation data customer complain & requirement. Preparation & review of draft Annexure of final release pipe from SAP. Preparation of plant coils status (DCCR. Daily &weekly coil yard status. Issue Lab Consumable used from Store.To ensure health and safety of Man and Machine Calibration of all testing instruments/ equipments and maintain calibration records. Ensure calibrated instruments/equipments used for testing. Safety of manpower at all times. To keep stock of safety equipments to be used in plant for clients To make sure that safety equipments are being used at all times by employees working under him/her.To act as a stable bridge for any and all type of communication Communicate the thoughts and principles of top management in word and spirit Communicate the feelings of the subordinates to upper management To ensure the work is carried out in alignment with the mission and vision of the organization. To provide timely reports to the upper management Ensure changes, if any, and properly and thoroughly followed in order to enhace the quality of product as directed by the superiors.
