Requirements Key Responsibilities: HR Strategy & Execution: Partner closely with senior retail leadership to design and implement HR strategies that align with business goals, including workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning. Talent Acquisition & Management: Lead recruitment strategies for retail talent at all levels, including volume hiring, leadership pipelines, and frontline workforce planning. Ensure effective onboarding, retention, and internal mobility processes are in place. Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as a trusted point of contact for retail employees, proactively resolving issues, promoting a positive work culture, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, including recognition programs, pulse surveys, and feedback mechanisms. Performance Management: Drive robust performance management processes within retail, including goal setting, coaching, feedback, and performance reviews. Partner with business leaders to address performance challenges and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. HR Operations & Compliance: Ensure HR policies and procedures are effectively communicated and implemented in retail operations. Oversee time and attendance, leave management, disciplinary actions, and compliance with local and national labor regulations. Learning & Development: Collaborate with learning teams to identify skills gaps in retail roles and implement training programs to enhance competencies in customer service, sales excellence, and leadership development. Diversity & Inclusion: Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives across the retail network, ensuring equitable practices in recruitment, development, and employee relations. Change Management: Support the retail business through transformation initiatives, including restructuring, new store openings, and technology implementations. Ensure smooth transitions by managing communication plans, training, and support. Key Skills & Competencies: Proven HR leadership experience in retail or consumer-driven sectors, with a deep understanding of frontline workforce dynamics. Strong business acumen, with the ability to align HR initiatives to commercial objectives. Expertise in employee relations, talent management, compliance, and HR operations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders. Demonstrated success in driving engagement, performance management, and change initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and best practices in multi-location retail settings. Proficiency with HR systems and tools (e.g., SAP HR, Workday, SuccessFactors) is an advantage. Role Description An Information Technology & Business Shared Services presence is established in Hyderabad, India with the objective of providing information technology application development and support services As Compensation & Benefits Specialist APR, you will serve as a trusted partner to both HR and the business, providing strategic insights and operational support on Compensation & Benefits related topics. You will report to the C&B lead EMEA & APR and work closely with the APR, EMEA and Corporate C&B team. You will leverage your strong project management skills to effectively oversee and implement C&B initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with industry standards. As a content expert in Compensation & Benefits, you will stay informed of market trends and best practices, ensuring our programs are innovative and competitive. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively will enhance the overall employee experience and contribute to the success of our organizational objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and optimizing processes for compensation and benefits programs and systems, driving efficiency and effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Provides analytical and other professional level support to the compensation and benefits function and serves as a trusted business partner to local HR and management. Conduct analyses on Compensation Programs and tools for APR, monitor trends and draw conclusions on findings. Work with corporate colleagues on process or program improvements. Support APR HR with the review of job descriptions/ job evaluations, determine job levels and align with benchmark. Support and guide the annual Compensation Review process. Participate in the annual salary survey process. Gather appropriate compensation and Benefits data elements as required by each survey. Work with survey vendors to ensure appropriate data submission. Support with annual compensation planning, market ranges and assist in providing benchmark analysis. Drafts compensation and benefit plans, administrative procedures and communications materials. Assist with implementation and optimization of regional and corporate projects. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Economics, (Tax)Law or business-related field Minimum of 5 years’ experience in International HR Operations or C&B teams Preferably worked in a corporate environment Experience with international employees and work environment Ability to prioritize work, handling multiple tasks, set goals and consistently delivers timely and accurate results Good communication skills Excellent analytical skills and interests Strong Excel, SuccessFactors and SAP experience is considered a plus Fluency in English (both written and verbal communications) is required Preferred Qualifications Project management skills Knowledge and experience in value chain management for C&B related processes Eastman Chemical Company is an equal opportunity employer.
