Job Description

Role Overview: As a Strategic Account Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive net new business within the most strategic tier one global and national accounts. You will focus on multi-year platform adoption, competitive takeouts, and influencing C-level technology roadmaps in AI, cloud, application delivery, and security. While your role is primarily that of a "Hunter," you may also manage a select group of install base accounts depending on the territory structure. Key Responsibilities: - Hunting Excellence: Identify, target, and close net new strategic accounts in the assigned region. - C-Level Engagement: Lead executive-level conversations that influence long-term technology roadmaps. - Strategic Deal Leadership: Take ownership of complex, multi-threaded deals by articulating a strong value proposition and competitive differentiation. - Enterprise Transformation Selling: Position A10 as the AI-era platform for security, ADC, and traffic management. - Pipeline Generation: Build and maintain a robust pipeline through targeted prospecting, events, account-based marketing (ABM), and channel co-selling. - Territory Flexibility: Manage select install base accounts to capture expansion when aligned with strategic goals. Qualifications Required: - 12+ years of proven sales experience in a high-tech or networking industry, with a focus on BFSI, Gaming, ISPs, IT & ITES, Healthcare & Pharma, PSU, and Education. - Demonstrated strong experience in selling solutions such as network security, cloud networking, load balancing & DDOS. - Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment. - Ability to understand and execute sales strategies across any vertical, any customer type, and any regional environment. - Capacity to adapt messaging to multiple industries and tailor solution positioning to varied customer needs. - Comfortable navigating complex, multicultural, and multi-regional business landscapes, ensuring effective engagement and consistent deal execution. - Deep knowledge of ADC, security, cloud networking, and AI infrastructure. - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Ability to influence and build relationships with senior executives, technical leaders, and decision-makers. - Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented. - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities. - Experience leveraging two-tier distribution and channel partnerships.,
