Role: Store Manager

• Manage all inventory and store operations related to raw materials, printing substrates, packaging components, consumables, and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/inventory management systems covering items such as paper, boards, inks, varnishes, plates, chemicals, and packing materials.
• Monitor stock levels regularly and ensure timely availability of materials as per production and dispatch schedules.
• Handle material inward and outward transactions — including goods receipt, issue to production, return, and dispatch processes — ensuring proper documentation.
• Conduct periodic stock audits, physical verification, and reconciliation with ERP/system data to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Implement and follow FIFO/FEFO methods, ensuring proper storage and shelf-life control for inks, chemicals, and other sensitive materials.
• Maintain a well-organized, clean, and safe warehouse in line with 5S and safety standards.
• Coordinate closely with Purchase, Production, Quality, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth flow of materials without production delays.
• Raise material requisitions in time and follow up with suppliers or purchase teams for pending deliveries.
• Supervise store staff and helpers, assign duties, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to store procedures.
• Maintain all necessary records such as GRN (Goods Receipt Note), material issue slips, stock registers, and dispatch documentation.
• Coordinate with transporters, logistics, and vendors to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of materials.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and statutory norms related to material handling and storage.
• Continuously identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements to enhance store efficiency and control wastage.
