Job Title: Store Manager

Job Overview:


The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring that sales targets are met, staff are well-trained, and customers are satisfied. This role requires a combination of strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of retail operations.


Key Responsibilities:


- Operational Management:

- Ensure smooth and efficient store operations.

- Maintain store standards in terms of cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation.

- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing team for restocking.

- Manage cash flow, including daily cash handling and banking procedures.


- Sales and Customer Service:

- Drive store sales and meet or exceed sales targets.

- Implement effective sales strategies to improve revenue.

- Ensure a high level of customer service and handle any customer complaints or issues.

- Conduct regular sales analysis and report findings to the Regional Manager.


- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to the team.

- Schedule staff to optimize store coverage and ensure efficiency.

- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.


- Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure all store operations comply with company policies and procedures.

- Maintain a safe and secure working environment for staff and customers.

- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure store safety and security.


- *Merchandising and Inventory Management:*

- Oversee merchandising standards to ensure the store is visually appealing.

- Manage stock levels and ensure accurate inventory management.

- Coordinate with the marketing team for in-store promotions and events.


Qualifications:


- Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role for 3-4 years.

- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Solid understanding of retail management and sales principles.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Proficient in MS Office and retail software (e.g., POS systems).


Education:
