Position: Store Head

Location: Waluj, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad)

Requisites:

• Graduate / Diploma in Engineering / Supply Chain / Logistics Management.
• Experience Required: 4–6 Years (Automotive Industry)
• Certification in IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / Inventory Management is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, FIFO/FEFO, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in ERP Systems (SAP/Tally/Any automotive ERP).
• Good knowledge of automotive components & material planning.
• Leadership & team management.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of packaging, handling & safety norms.

Responsibilities:

A. Inventory & Material Management

• Maintain accurate stock of Raw Material (RM), Packing Material (PM), Consumables, Tools, and Finished Goods (FG).
• Ensure FIFO / FEFO, lot traceability, and bin card updating.
• Monitor minimum, maximum & reorder levels to avoid stock outs and excess inventory.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly & annual stock audits.
• Reconciliation of physical stock vs. ERP/records.

B. IATF 16949 Compliance

• Implement and maintain IATF 16949 documentation related to Stores.
• Ensure adherence to MSDS, safety norms, and material storage guidelines.
• Maintain records such as GRN, Issue Slips, Rejection Reports, Stock Statements, etc.
• Support internal and external audits with necessary documents and compliance.

C. Inbound & Outbound Operations

• Oversee receiving, inspection coordination, and proper storage of materials.
• Prepare and monitor GRN, rejection slips, and return to vendor process.
• Ensure timely issuance of material to production as per plan and schedule.
• Manage dispatch operations, documentation (DC, invoice, e-way bill), and transporter coordination.

D. ERP / System Management

• Manage stores in ERP (SAP/Tally/Any ERP used).
• Ensure real-time entries of consumption, receipts, movement, and scrap.
• Maintain data accuracy and generate required MIS reports.

E. Team Handling & Leadership

• Lead, train, and supervise the stores team.
• Allocate tasks and ensure smooth material flow within processes.
• Maintain discipline, 5S, and safety practices in stores area.

F. Cost Control & Process Improvement

• Analyse slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives through better planning & control.
• Improve storage layout, material flow, and space utilization.
