Job Description: Store Assistant – ACT Fibernet Store Position: Store Assistant Department: Retail Operations / Customer Service Location: ACT Fibernet Store Reporting To: Store Manager / Branch Manager Role Summary: The Store Assistant will support day-to-day operations of the ACT Fibernet Store, ensuring smooth customer service, efficient documentation handling, and timely coordination with the backend team. The role involves assisting walk-in customers, processing new connections, resolving queries, maintaining stock, and ensuring the store environment is clean and customer-friendly. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service & Sales Support Greet and assist walk-in customers with queries related to new connections, upgrades, billing, and service issues. Explain ACT Fibernet plans, offers, and product features to customers. Convert walk-ins into successful new connections or upselling opportunities. Provide accurate information and guide customers through the application and onboarding process. Operational & Documentation Support Collect customer documents (ID proofs, address proofs) and verify them as per company guidelines. Coordinate with the backend team for activation, installation, and customer issue resolution. Maintain proper records of daily walk-ins, sales, and pending cases. Prepare daily/weekly reports for store manager review. Inventory & Store Maintenance Manage inventory for routers, modems, accessories, and marketing materials. Track inward and outward stock movement and maintain accurate logs. Ensure store cleanliness, display arrangement, and branding upkeep. Billing & Cash Handling Handle billing, payment collections, receipts, and reconciliation at the end of the day. Ensure accuracy in cash/card transactions and maintain transparency in records. Customer Issue Coordination Log service requests and follow up with technical teams until closure. Provide timely updates to customers regarding installation, shift, or repair status. Skills & Competencies Required: Strong communication and customer-handling skills. Basic knowledge of internet services and broadband terminology (preferred). Good documentation and computer proficiency (MS Office, email, CRM tools). Ability to multitask, coordinate, and work in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving attitude with a customer-first approach.
