Accounts Executive

Job Description: Accounts & Taxation Executive (Fresher – 6 Months Experience) Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated Accounts & Taxation Executive with basic knowledge of accounting and taxation. The ideal candidate should be a fresher or have up to 6 months of experience, willing to learn, detail-oriented, and capable of handling day-to-day accounting and compliance activities. Key Responsibilities Accounting Functions Maintain books of accounts and record daily transactions Assist in preparation of vouchers, journal entries, and ledgers Handle bank entries and assist in bank reconciliation statements Support month-end closing activities Maintain proper filing of accounting records and documents Taxation & Compliance Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) Assist in TDS calculations and return filings Support compliance with Income Tax and statutory requirements Coordinate with auditors and consultants for audits and filings Maintain records for GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances Support Activities Assist senior accountants in day-to-day accounting tasks Respond to basic queries related to accounts and taxation Ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting Follow company accounting policies and procedures Required Qualifications B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent Fresher or up to 6 months of experience in accounting/taxation Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax Familiarity with Tally / accounting software and MS Excel Skills & Competencies Basic accounting knowledge Attention to detail and accuracy Willingness to learn and take instructions Good communication and coordination skills Time management and organizational skills Preferred Skills (Good to Have)Hands-on exposure to GST returns or TDS filings Knowledge of payroll basics Exposure to statutory compliance processes
