The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and maintaining secure and scalable networks, ensuring smooth connectivity between headquarters, data centers, and remote offices. Key Responsibilities Firewall Management: Configure, manage, and monitor firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, or similar). Create and maintain firewall policies, VPN tunnels, port forwarding, and NAT rules. Perform regular audits of firewall logs and respond to potential threats or alerts. Manage site-to-site and remote access VPNs securely and efficiently. Site Network Setup & Maintenance: Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure for multiple office or branch locations. Configure routers, switches, access points, and network cabling across sites. Set up and manage inter-office connectivity, including leased lines, MPLS, or SD-WAN. Ensure uptime and performance of WAN/LAN and wireless networks across sites. Conduct periodic site visits for troubleshooting, audits, or upgrades (if required). Network Administration & Support: Monitor network health using tools like PRTG, SolarWinds, or similar. Troubleshoot connectivity, hardware, and configuration issues promptly. Maintain network documentation: IP plans, topology diagrams, and configuration backups. Collaborate with vendors and service providers for hardware installation or link issues. Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and data protection protocols. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2–6 years of experience in network engineering, especially in multi-site environments. Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco ASA, SonicWall, etc.). Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing (BGP, OSPF), and NAT.
