Experience: Minimum 3–7 Years Location: Chandigarh Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Real Estate / Construction / Urban Planning Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering We are hiring a Civil Engineer with proven experience in colony layout planning , site surveying , urban township development , and civil construction management . The candidate should be capable of coordinating with architects and other stakeholders, with strong experience in site execution and finishing work . Key Responsibilities: Plan and develop colony layouts and city/township master plans as per regulatory and architectural guidelines. Conduct site surveys , topographical mapping, and feasibility assessments for proposed development areas. Supervise all civil construction work including roads, drainage, water supply, boundary walls, and site infrastructure. Coordinate effectively with architects and planners to ensure implementation of layout and design. Monitor and manage site execution , ensuring quality control and adherence to project timelines. Oversee finishing works (internal & external) in coordination with the architect’s specifications and design intent. Ensure compliance with local development bylaws, environmental norms, and safety regulations. Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, work schedules , and material requirements. Communicate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progress. Maintain detailed site records, daily progress reports, and documentation for approvals and audits. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech). 3–7 years of experience in site development, urban/township layout design , and civil execution. Strong knowledge of layout planning, land grading, and infrastructure development. Proficiency in AutoCAD , civil design software, surveying tools (e.g., Total Station), and MS Project/Excel. Experience in coordination with architects, urban planners, and contractors . Good understanding of construction materials, methods, and finishing work standards. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills: Experience in real estate or township projects . Knowledge of local municipal development regulations and land use planning . Familiarity with 3D visualization tools and GIS (optional).
