Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team. The person in this role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely processing of transactions, and supporting revenue recognition activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts receivable and payable data.
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies by reconciling monthly expense reports.
  • Facilitate payment of client invoices by sending reminders and collaborating with clients for timely settlement.
  • Process employee expense reports.
  • Understand expense accounts and cost centers to ensure proper allocation of costs.
  • Support the Revenue Recognition team in analyzing and booking monthly contracts.
  • Review Salesforce contracts for ACV/TCV calculation accuracy and data integrity.

Required Qualifications:

  • The person should have 2–4+ years of Staff Accountant experience.
  • The person should hold a BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • The person must have a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and payroll principles.
  • The person should have a clear understanding of Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) accounting rules.
  • The person should have a proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • The person should have strong data entry skills and a knack for numbers.
  • The person must have hands-on experience with spreadsheets, accounting software, and payroll systems.
  • The person should have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The person must have thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP.
  • The person should adhere strictly to confidentiality regulations and ethical standards.
  • The person must have proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Software Knowledge:

  • Desired: The person should have experience with Sage Intacct (not mandatory).
  • The person should have experience using expense reporting software (e.g., Concur).
  • The person should have experience with CRM platform tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

  • The person should be extremely detail-oriented and well-organized.
