Sr Scrum Master

We need a Senior Scrum Master with

• Hands-on experience in JIRA
• Team management experience mandatory
• Excellent communication skills
• Scrum Master certification (mandatory)
• Ability to manage large teams and handle complete Scrum Master responsibilities independently
• Minimum 6+ years as a Scrum Master

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience

• Serve as a servant leader to the Scrum Team, facilitating collaboration, and helping the team become self-organized and cross-functional.
• Facilitate Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives, ensuring that these meetings are effective and productive.
• Coach the team on Agile and Scrum principles, practices, and values, and help team members understand their roles and responsibilities within the Scrum framework.
• Identify and remove obstacles or impediments that prevent the team from achieving its Sprint goals, coordinating with external stakeholders or other teams as necessary.
• Own the Scrum process and ensure that the team follows Scrum guidelines and practices, enforcing timeboxing, promoting transparency and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Encourage collaboration and communication within the team and between the team and stakeholders, fostering a culture of openness, trust, and transparency.
• Act as a buffer between the team and external distractions, allowing the team to focus on their work during the Sprint and shield the team from external pressures and interruptions.
• Track and monitor relevant metrics such as Sprint velocity, burndown charts, and other key performance indicators, providing insights to the team and stakeholders to improve productivity and predictability.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging reflection on processes and practices during Sprint Retrospectives and implementing changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Resolve conflicts or disagreements within the team in a constructive manner, facilitating discussions and encouraging mutual understanding and respect among team members.
